Free self-assessments · For adults
Free mental health quizzes you can take right now.
These are normed, published questionnaires: short, self-report screeners used to point to possible patterns of experience worth reflecting on, or talking through with a provider. They are not diagnostic tools, and that is part of the point. It can be genuinely clarifying to see an experience named and asked about, sometimes for the first time, and noticing how it feels to answer can be insightful all on its own. Screeners have real limits, so we treat them as a place to start exploring, not a place to find answers.
Your answers never leave your browser. Nothing is saved, and nothing is sent to us or anyone else.

What these can and cannot do
A screener raises the question. It does not answer it.
These are the same short questionnaires clinicians use as a starting point. They are good at flagging when something is worth a closer look, and they are honest about their limits: no ten-question quiz can tell you whether you have ADHD, autism, depression, or an anxiety disorder. Only a person can do that, in conversation with you, over more than a few minutes.
So use your result as information, not a verdict. If it surprises you, or simply names something you have felt for a long time, that is reason enough to talk to someone. That is exactly what the next step is for.
