THIS GROUP IS NO LONGER RUNNING

A Place To Be Human: A Confidential Clergy Support Group

This group offered a space where pastors, chaplains, and clergy could speak openly about the challenges of ministry without the pressure to lead. Members found support, connection, and room to reflect on their own spiritual and emotional well-being. It was led by Dr. Sean Noe.

This group is not currently running and is not accepting new members. Dr. Noe continues to offer individual therapy for clergy and faith leaders.

Clergy Need Support, Too

Ministry is deeply meaningful—and it can also be quietly exhausting. Whether you're in a pulpit, a hospital, a parish, or a nonprofit, those in pastoral roles are called to hold space for others, often while carrying their own emotional, relational, and spiritual weight. Between sermon prep, hospital visits, navigating congregational relationships, and the constant pull to be available, the pressures add up over time. It can be hard to name these struggles, and even harder to feel like you shouldn’t have to manage them alone.

About This Clergy Support Group

This group, A Place to Be Human, is a confidential and supportive space for clergy to step out of the role of caregiver and leader, and invites them to tend to their own inner life in a safe community. It welcomes pastors, priests, ministers, chaplains, and clergy across different traditions.

Experience support that honors both your humanity and your calling.
